Company update, Family Fund Business Services
Family Fund Business Services has been featured in the York Top 100 Businesses list for 2022. This marks the fourth time FFBS has made the list in recent years. Since making the list for the first time in 2017, where we entered at 100th, to be ranked 59th is a brilliant result.
Created by Make It York, the list is published by The York Press after being compiled through extensive research and analysis by York St John University’s Business School. The team at York St John analyse firms’ turnover, profit, growth and headcounts, to collate what Nadia Jefferson Brown, business editor at The Press, dubs “a definitive and comprehensive list of York’s most significant employers”. It serves to showcase the work of York’s diverse, innovative and resilient organisations; their success stories and ongoing contribution to the city’s economy.
Since our launch in 2013, we have helped customers deliver 1.7 million essential goods and services to over 1 million households in need. This, in turn, has generated £6.6 million in gifted profit for our parent charity Family Fund.
Jill Wheeler, Managing Director of Family Fund Business Services (FFBS) said:
“We’re thrilled to be included in the list once again. To have ranked 59th alongside many major, longstanding organisations is both a great achievement for us and reflective of the way in which FFBS continues to go from strength to strength in helping organisations streamline their procurement.”
“Through our social business model, we help our clients distribute support to their beneficiaries with cost efficiency and ease, whilst providing substantial, sustainable funding to our parent charity. It’s wonderful to have the work of our amazing team recognised, and awareness raised of our organisation in this way, so that we can continue to help our clients and parent charity help others.”
