2023: Happy 10th Birthday FFBS! With a decade of experience under our belts, we can't wait to see what's next..

Celebrating our 10th Birthday

We’ve had a busy decade, and 2023 has given us a lot to celebrate.

In 10 years, FFBS has generated over £12.7 million* in unrestricted funding for Family Fund. This supports, and sustains, the work the charity does to help families raising disabled and seriously ill children on a low income, across the UK. In the last year alone, we’ve generated £3.2 million* for the charity.

And our impact extends much further- in the last year, the grants we’ve administered on behalf of our clients have made a vital difference to beneficiaries across the UK. This last financial year, the impact of our grants equates to 9.6 million hot meals cooked, 601,302 good nights’ sleep, 1.8 million loads of washing, and 38,813 households helped with their energy bills.

Phil Henderson, Director of FFBS, says:

FFBS has been here to support beneficiaries across the UK through a decade of constant change. In the last few years alone, we have had to respond to a pandemic and a cost-of-living crisis and support our clients with the increased demand for help with essentials items and living costs from their beneficiaries at an incredibly challenging time.

We are proud to have delivered another record-breaking year for our business, supporting our clients and their beneficiaries. The funding we gift to Family Fund from this work means the charity can reach even more people and expand its services and research work.”
