Small grants, big impact

We’re looking for referrers to help us demonstrate the tangible impact of BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials grants.

Storytelling helps bring to life the key issues facing children and young people growing up in poverty across the UK. These stories raise awareness of the programme, support fundraising, help sustain the programme for the future, and enable us to reach more families in crisis.

Every story shared with us helps make a difference and supports us to deliver greater impact nationwide.

All storytelling activity connected to the programme is completely anonymised, recognising the crisis situations and difficult circumstances facing the families we support.

Sharing programme impact

Do you have a family story or feedback to share? We’d love to hear from you.

We welcome feedback from referrers on behalf of the families they support, as well as directly from families who have received a grant through the BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme.

Please fill out the form below and our team will be in touch to find out more about the item received and the difference it made.

Thank you for helping us tell the stories that matter. Your voice helps children in crisis, and those growing up in poverty, to be heard.
