Our story

Family Fund Business Services (FFBS) was established in 2013 as a social enterprise and wholly owned subsidiary of national children’s charity Family Fund with the dual purpose of sharing the charity’s extensive grant and fulfilment expertise across the wider grant-making sector and generating additional unrestricted funding for the charity.

What we do

FFBS is a fulfilment and grant administration partner. We work with frontline teams across the charity, housing and public sector to simplify the process of getting essential goods and services to people in need.

We offer a streamlined fulfilment solution, removing the burden of supplier management with our one-stop-shop fulfilment portal, giving clients access to thousands of items, all in one place. With delivery, installation, uplift and extended warranties included as standard on physical goods, and crisis vouchers and cash payments processed same or next day, we alleviate the administrative burden on frontline teams, saving them time and making it easier to support communities.

Why we do it

Supporting Family Fund

Every penny of our taxable profit is gifted to Family Fund, directly supporting and sustaining the essential grants and services that the charity provides to families on a low income raising a seriously ill or disabled child. This means that when you partner with FFBS, you are helping the charity to provide even more support to families across the UK.

The support Family Fund provides includes giving grants to families for items they may not be able to afford, like family breaks and play equipment; offering services to help parents and carers to achieve the outcomes they want for their family, with practical workshops and advice, and providing ways for families to share their experiences, so they can influence lasting change on issues that matter to them.

Last year, Family Fund provided over 200,000 grants and services to families raising seriously ill and disabled children.

Supporting communities

Through our partnerships with grant-making organisations, we deliver vital support to communities across the UK in a variety of circumstances – whether that’s distributing crisis support to households in poverty, furnishing social housing, or managing impactful grant schemes.

Last year, we worked in partnership with our clients to deliver over 600,000 essential items to beneficiaries across the UK.
